Athlete Weekend Planner Released to Assist Participants

New Event Organisers British Triathlon are dedicated to making sure that 2017's age-group competitors have a stress free weekend, come 10-11 June. One way in which we're doing this is with the release of the first draft of an Athlete Sprint and Standard Distance Weekend Planner, which will help participants to get the most out of their trip to Leeds this June.

A comprehensive athlete guide will be distributed to all entrants closer to the event, but the weekend planner gives athletes a headstart and helps to make sure they're fully prepared well in advanced.

The document will be constantly updated with new aspects and possible changes, so competitors should check back to ensure they've got the latest information.

Topics covered within the weekend planner include:

  • Car parking
  • Shuttle bus service
  • Registration and transition opening times
  • City centre finish line and Roundhay Park bags
  • Advice for spectators coming with a competitor
  • What to do after finishing

Click below to read the first version of the weekend planner, which can also be downloaded and printed to make sure participants have a stress free experience come race-day.
